چکیده

Accumulation of environmentally hazardous agricultural waste, in particular cow manure without the proper treatment, creates an ecological threat to environment. During energy crisis, search for alternative pathways obtain is also one most urgent issues today. Cow promising as a substrate anaerobic fermentation with production valuable carrier — methane. Fermentation sole not spread. It takes place due low efficiency process. We hypothesized that caused by inhibition microbiome end products gastrointestinal tract cows and non-optimal conditions microbial growth. Thus, goal work was develop approach methane using conversion succession its effective degradation obtaining carrier. The following methods were used: potentiometric measurement pH Eh, chromatographic determination composition gas phase. To study patterns manure, treatments analyzed: 1. autochthonous microtome regulation medium; 2. addition fermented sludge tank inoculum regulation; 3. via adding regulation. As result, shown be inefficient. In this case, yield only 20 L/kg substrate. suggested take accumulation fermentation. Conversion succession, i.e., replacement microbiome, introduction biomass tank, provided increase 230 This result testifies application another methanogenic useful compounds inhibited serve introduced one. allowed creating optimal growth microorganisms increased 280 So, change i.e. made it possible 14-fold manure. carrier, obtained results can basis further development environmental biotechnologies.

On-Line Measurement of Dissolved Methane Concentration During Methane Fermentation in a Loop Bioreactor

A dissolved methane sensor based on silicone tube was designed, constructed and optimized. The silicone tube diameter, silicone tube length and helium flow rate (as the carrier gas(were considered as process parameters to be optimized.A continuous stream of helium (50 mL/min) was directed through the tubing, sweeping out the...

Hydrothermolysis of Agricultural Waste

The consumption of petroleum products has been significantly increasing year by year. Petroleum offers a tremendous convenience for our life, and our daily life would be quite different without it. However, the depletion of petroleum is creeping under our foot. Lignocellulosic biomass has unlimited potential because it is possible to substitute for petroleum as energy and chemical sources. Rece...

Development of a novel three-stage fermentation system converting food waste to hydrogen and methane.

In this study, a novel three-stage (lactate-+photo-H(2)+CH(4)) fermentation system was developed, which converts food waste to H(2) and CH(4), with an emphasis on achieving high H(2) yield. The system begins by first fermenting food waste to lactate, rather than acetate and butyrate, using indigenous lactic acid bacteria. Lactate fermentation effluent was then centrifuged, and the supernatant w...

Production of Bacterial - Xylanolytic Enzyme using Agricultural Waste by Solid State Fermentation

Xylanases (E.C.3.2.1.8) are key enzymes, which play an important role in the breakdown of xylan. Wheat bran and corn cob are a rich source of xylan (28%) and xylose (23%). Therefore these are attractive substrates for production of xylanase & ßxylosidase enzyme. Xylan, a major component of hemicelluloses, is a heterogeneous polysaccharides consisting of ß-1, 4 linked to D-xylosyl residues on th...

Solid-phase Methane Fermentation of Solid Wastes

Dr. Ghosh has presented a novel technique for the con version of Municipal Waste (MSW) to methane rich gas. Prior work has either permitted fermentation to proceed naturally (landfill gas extraction) or used conventional stirred reactors (DOE Ref COM facility). Proposed is to recycle leachate through a mass of solid waste to achieve volatile acids and then to convert the acids to methane in a ...
